  1. In this space, there are TONS of communities with TONS of people.
  2. Some few ones are really well moderated and provide a ton of value.
  3. Others are only self-promo groups that don't provide too much value.
  4. There's a wide spectrum of temperaments among gamers: from empathetic and supportive to toxic and destructive.
  5. The community is very fast-moving.
  6. There are a lot of very small creators that struggle to build an audience.
  7. Community members are really thankful for thoughtful feedback and advice.

Why Gaming Content Creators?

3. Gaming Content Creators are digital natives and easy to reach

As digital natives, gamers have a high willingness to try new things and provide feedback. There are tons of online communities for gamers (the 13 we studied are just a glimpse into the enormous community spaces for gamers) with high levels of engagement. This is great for anyone building for gamers as they are easy to reach in those communities.
